Life is a journey...

In December 2015, I turned 30. I had been working as an investor at a technology focused growth equity firm for three and a half years, a job that I aspired to do since I was in high school. I just bought my first house, a beautiful three bed three bath row house in the heart of Columbia Heights, DC, a city in which I have the best friends and memories.

And yet, I had a growing feeling that it was time to do something new. Time to get out of my comfort zone. Time to be challenged and learn something new.

So I decided to rent out my house, move on from my job, and travel the world, solo, while simultaneously starting a financial consulting practice.

This site records my geographic, business, personal, and social journeys. It is my hope that the site will be both educational and entertaining for you, while serving as a place of reflection for me.
